Out from Retirement

I feel like dropping by MPH to pickup Running with Scissors, head home and read. It’s one of those days again when the bosses are feeling down having just lost in another attempt to lure in a lucrative client, again. This pattern is all but unforeseen. We are up to standard, no doubt about it. But there are just a few things back here that’s holding us back, causing big clients to trail off on us.

One would be the RM14K printer dubbed the ‘14K Dinosaur’. Apart from the unrelenting waiting of files to be printed, the quality is way, way below par, heck, even my pre-historic Canon Bubblejet BJC 210 SP purchased way back in ’97 prints better and faster too than that price of crap tucked in between the Art Director’s desk and the vacant desk. And oh, the start-up time it requires is just simply preposterous. 8 minutes to start-up and it goes to sleep too soon, it’s like dragging a retired Creative Director out from retirement and placed him back into the fray of endless brain storming. I think we should get rid of it and just get a regular printer.

…or am I just bring a dick today. But hey, it’s sickening to see another opportunity go begging.
