You dribble from the left and charge towards goal. With no one else in sight, you only have the keeper to beat. You dribble pass him while he’s scrambling on the ground trying to catch the ball. You drift away and scuff a shot. Keeper saves it but the ball somehow lands on your feet again. Second bite. This time, keeper is already on the ground, helpless like a run-over puppy, gaping goal. And you take a shot. On your stronger side.
And it goes wide.
So wide, that the ball didn’t even go out of play. And it was only barely 15-20 inches away from the goal line. WTF?!
